The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has quickly changed our daily lives. We here at Ankle N Foot Centers are doing everything we can to help during this public health crisis.

We have remained open to reduce the strain our hospital systems and urgent care centers are facing. Our capabilities with in-office X-rays and ultrasounds provide us with the ability to conduct complete work-ups on patients with infectious and traumatic conditions to the foot and ankle.

Importantly, we are following CDC guidelines and even taking extra safety precautions for both our staff and patients during this period. We have instituted strict guidelines to ensure proper screening, safe distancing, protocols for protective equipment to be used by patients and staff during all office visits, and thorough disinfecting measures after each use of rooms and equipment.

In addition to our traditional treatment capabilities, we have also introduced telemedicine visits.

A telemedicine visit is similar to an office visit, only instead of traveling to see your doctor, you can video conference with them from your home by smartphone, iPad/tablet, or computer. Our providers can assess symptoms, make a diagnosis, recommend treatment, and send prescriptions electronically to your pharmacy.

Telemedicine appointments can be booked for any type of foot or ankle issue and allow for evaluation and treatment from the safety of your own home. We are able to see children as well as long as they have their parent(s)/legal guardian on the call.
